You Got This (أنت قدها)
ADIDAS
A quiet story of belief between a father and daughter, Adidas “You Got This” with Farah Jefry shows that confidence is built, not born—through years of practice, patience, and someone who always shows up.
Project information
The Adidas “You Got This” campaign featuring Farah Jefry is a localized expression of the brand’s global platform built around The Plus One Effect—the idea that behind every athlete’s confidence lies someone whose belief makes all the difference. In Saudi Arabia, this universal message finds intimate resonance in the relationship between Farah and her father. Farah, one of the nation’s pioneering female footballers, represents a new generation redefining what it means to play, compete, and belong in Saudi sport. Yet, at the heart of her story is not just talent or determination—it’s the quiet, constant presence of a man who has been there from the beginning.
The campaign captures the essence of that presence. It’s not loud, not staged, not dramatic. It unfolds through stillness, routine, and repetition—the small rituals that build greatness over time. Farah plays with control, focus, and intent, but none of it happened by chance. It was shaped by years of practice and one unwavering supporter who always showed up. Her father stands at the edge of every field, watching each session, backing her through every high and every stumble. He doesn’t seek the spotlight or credit; his strength lies in being steady, silent, and present—the space that allows her to move forward.
Through this relationship, Adidas brings to life the emotional core of The Plus One Effect: the belief that sport is not a solitary pursuit but a shared journey. The campaign reframes strength not as dominance but as empathy, showing how positivity, faith, and support can disarm pressure and turn self-doubt into self-belief. In Farah’s world, her father’s encouragement becomes the invisible rhythm behind every kick, every win, and every return to the field.
Visually and tonally, the film embraces simplicity and sincerity. It moves away from spectacle and focuses instead on authenticity—the quiet gestures that speak louder than words. The muted palette, grounded cinematography, and bilingual narration in Arabic and English create an intimate portrait of love, discipline, and trust between a father and daughter.
Ultimately, this campaign is not just about football; it’s about belief. It celebrates the unseen moments that build champions and honors the people who make those moments possible. For Saudi Arabia, it is a reflection of cultural pride and progress—an acknowledgment that empowerment is not achieved alone but through connection, support, and shared faith. Farah’s story, guided by her father’s enduring presence, becomes a timeless illustration of what “You Got This” truly means: confidence born from care, strength sustained by love, and greatness nurtured through togetherness.
