Pacsafe is a brand that provides security travel products. They design and manufacture high-quality travel gear that prevents theft and protect travellers’ possessions and valuables.
The challenge was to create a new unified buying experience for Pacsafe utilising Salesforce Commerce Cloud, the leading B2C and B2B commerce solution, and integrate it with their existing CRM tools. The platform provides a rich set of capabilities, including marketing, merchandising, content, promotions, customer service, fulfilment.
Consumers are increasingly turning to mobile devices for inspiration, information, and final purchase as e-commerce grows exponentially across the globe. And frictionless mobile shopping experience is more important than ever, along with a comprehensive mobile presence and strategy.
Working closely with their brand and marketing teams, I worked on a simplified approach to creating a customer-centric design that provides a concrete path for users to purchase. Integrating the shop with the product and asset management backend helped create a unified digital customer experience across all channels.
Working with developers and Salesforce partners also helped get valuable insights into user behaviour patterns and how they interact with the products.
Redefined experience
The main goal was to create and propose a new online shopping and content experience, develop all page designs, visual and UI components, and follow and apply for Pacsafe's new brand position. The whole process considers technical aspects such as e-commerce platform (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, formerly Demandware), audience and content strategy.
About the project
The project was based on fundamental design principles, focusing on user needs, elegant and straightforward task flows, clear and beautiful interfaces, and the user context in mind.
A redefined consumer journey to purchase was thought with particular attention to provide content, product stories, and the best shopping experience. Aligning Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) with marketing tools offered Pacsafe's team news capabilities to develop the brand further.
Beyond shopping
Pacsafe wanted to focus on content, bringing travel stories, products insights, and seasonal product launches to the user compellingly. The website offered editorial space integrated into the shopping experience.
